Kaedon V is an Earth-sized, temperate forest planet in the Void.

Colonization[]

Kaedon V Monestary

Kaedon V was initially discovered by a group of Old Faith Christians seeking a secluded site for a hermitage. The vessel these monks traveled on was intended to become their monastery by landing on the planet. Seven months after the hermitage was established, Kaedon V was stumbled upon by an agriculture firm, Holt & Ventner Incorporated, who established an agricolony at the worlds equator.

Culture and Society[]

Founding the colony of Nazareth was secured among the cooler northern climates of Kaedon V, settled securely within a mountainous valley surrounded by a vast evergreen forest. Establishing the monastary was an arduous, but simple endeavor, and once they faith was established the colonists wasted little time in expanding. The protestant monk order established a modest, humble lifestyle among their people, living as the gospel dictated. Humility was a prime factor for the people of Nazareth, and the monastary was dedicated to being a place of peaceful worship for all beings. Unlike more conservative elements of the christian belief, the monastary welcomed synth, human, helghast and martian believers into their settlement with open arms, wholly undiscriminating to any visitors they recieved. Often visited by passerby who were pushing further into the void, the monastary became a modest trading hub, most of the money refocused into funds for ill-prepared settlers and the poor.

Militia Development[]

Holt & Ventner Inc. brought their own private security firm, VenTac Security, specializing in agricultural security. As the name implies, VenTac is owned by Karl Ventner, and is driven by the same bottom line. This makes VenTac much more loyal to the colony, but equally as ruthless. While their fleet is mostly comprised of refitted bulk haulers, VenTac boasts a more than capable surface arsenal including light armored vehicles.
