First Extrasolar War

The First Extrasolar War was a conflict between the Helghan Corporation, which controlled most of the Alpha Centauri system, and the UCN, which sought to gain control of trade in the region, as well as other factors. The war was a result of tensions that had been building between the Helghan Corporation and the UCN, which finally exploded when Helghan system declared itself a colony independent of UCN control and taxation.
